A B-Vent Fireplace Insert can be inserted directly into your pre-existing Wood Burning Fireplace and can greatly increase efficiency, look, and appeal. If you’re getting tired of going through the hassle of maintaining a traditional wood fireplace, consider installing a B Vent (or Natural Vent) Insert. B-Vent configurations take air from your room for combustion and vent combusted air outside through a vent. This vent can be installed into a chimney or vented through the roof or sidewall. Generally, B-Vent styles are less efficient than other venting options, but will most likely be more efficient than a wood burning configuration.
