Propane Gas Vent Free Fireplaces are comprised of a burner, gas log set, and a firebox. If you don’t have a natural gas line running to your home but want to avoid the hassle of a Wood Burning Fireplace, you can install a Propane Gas Fireplace. Ventless Fireplaces do not require a chimney or flue and can therefore be placed virtually anywhere in your home. In order to meet EPA regulations and avoid any safety hazards, Propane Gas Vent Free Fireplaces have a flame that burns at an extremely hot temperature. This effectively increases heat output and efficiency (almost 100% of the gas is combusted and transferred into heat) and virtually eliminates all pollutants. However, due to the increased heat of the flame, Ventless Fireplaces generally have a less decorative flame than Vented Fireplaces.
