Natural Gas B-Vent Fireplaces
Radiant vs Circulating Fireplaces
Radiant heat is distributed more evenly than convection (circulating) heat. It does not dry the air or circulate dust particles. A radiant fireplace usually has a clean face design with no exposed grills or louvers.
Circulating heat is the transferring of heat from one area to another by moving air. With air inlets and outlets located above and below the front opening of the unit, air is circulated through the unit while in operation. Radiant heat is distributed more evenly than convection (circulating) heat. It does not dry the air or circulate dust particles. A radiant fireplace usually has a clean face design with no exposed grills or louvers.
