Performance Line Series - 36"
The Performance Line of wood burners is the foundation of Vanguard's new family of fireplaces. These units come standard with easy access damper, outside air control ready, hidden screen pockets, and are easily convertible from smooth face to circulating. These units are both "Gas Log Ready" and "Gas Log Friendly". Meaning you can keep the look of a masonry fireplace by having hidden gas piping and controls. This unit is a non-circulating (smooth faced) model. The 8" required venting pipe makes installation a snap with a 1" minimum clearance for the 36" fireplace model.

Proper installation is the most important step in ensuring safe and continuous operation of the fireplace. Consult the local building codes as to the particular requirements concerned with the installation of all factory built fireplaces. Although grounding may not be required by code the manufacturer recommends it.
