We placed a large order for our new construction home this summer. This company was extremely helpful in building together a package based upon our needs and budget. It was shipped to us free and arrived in perfect condition. While we were installing our 2 units we realized that one part was missing. I shopped around, and found what I thought was an unbeatable deal. I showed the deal to Harold at Fireplaces now and they said that they would match and beat the competing price. To my great surprise they did and I placed the order. Delivery was fast and efficient except it was missing one additional part that I thought I had ordered. After looking at the invoice I saw that it was not there either. I called Harold at Fireplaces now and told them about the mistake. They could have easily told me to take a hike, instead at their expense they went above and beyond and stayed true to their word in beating the competitors price and immediately sent the additional part at no charge! I purchased a Vanguard model VDCFTNB firebox with the model GMC61UD - 26 Traditional Slim-Line Design Cabinet Surround earlier this month. The components I purchased were suggested by your website to fit my firebox. After I received my shipment I made sure everything I ordered was there but didn’t start my install for several days because the surround needed to be finished. I spent 3 days sanding & finishing the surround and today I started to install everything, I noticed the depth of the firebox was approximately 13 1/2“ and the depth of the surround was approximately 9 ¾”. I then realized these 2 pieces will not work together. I immediately called your company and spoke with a gentleman by the name of Harold, I explained my problem to him and after about 15 minutes Harold told me it was their error. Harold told me he would be sending out a more expensive mantle, approximately $200. More at no extra charge. The reason I’m sending you this email is to let you know that you have earned a regular customer here because of salesman like the gentlemen I spoke with who goes the extra mile.

Just wanted to say "thanks" to you and Tony for making this a pleasant shopping experience. We were very excited when we ordered our new insert from your company, and anxiously awaited it's delivery. Yes, it's summer - in Texas and over 100 degrees! Anyway, when the stove was delivered, the driver said they weren't supposed to unload on our property, that we were supposed to have a way to get it from the street to our house. Well, that wasn't going to happen, and he happily agreed to use his dolly to transport the stove to our front porch. When we went to install the stove, not all the parts were there. The chimney pipe was 6" and the stove was 8". When you & Tony were made aware of this problem, you both worked quickly to make it right, and had an adaptor sent to us. Then, we contacted you again when the sticky tape & screws for the trim were missing from the box. Again, you & Tony were happy and quick to assist, and in a few days, we had the missing parts. The stove is now completely installed and looks GREAT! Thanks for the great customer service, during and after the sale! Can't wait for winter to use it!

I wanted to convey my thanks and share how pleasurable my experience with Wholesale Now has been. My wife and I moved into the New England area 15 months ago after looking at 23 houses. They all had a fireplace except the one we ended up buying. I decided to install one myself and started looking around at various different options. Dear Sir:

Recently, I had the misfortune of discovering a fireplace that I had ordered and was delivered in February of this year was not the unit I requested. Just prior to installation I removed the remaining wrappings and found the unit was not vented properly for its intended application. I immediately called your customer service number.

At this point you may be thinking this email is a customer complaint. Its not. The error in the order was made by the distributor and does not reflect on the way your company does business. Indeed. This email is complimentary. Your employees were very courteous and helpful with the initial order and the delivery was extremely prompt. Much earlier than I had anticipated. In fact, everything went well until I removed that last cardboard cover.

I don't know the young ladies full name and I don't know her personally, but, Tony in customer service is a treasure your company possesses that you may not be aware of. She has been helping me work out this little bump in my homeowner project by serving as the intermediary between your company and the distributor. Anything I say about Tony would be understatement. The success of an internet business such as yours is really dependent upon the quality of your employees and how well they relate to and resolve the customers needs. The better the employees the better your business. Tony far exceeds that criteria. She is great!

A wise employer would see to it that such an employees efforts were rewarded and that her potential be utilized to the maximum. Thank you for time.

Hello Harold,

I just wanted to update you with the news on the fireplace install and the satisfaction I have had working with your man, Brad. When the unit arrived, I was, of course, excited. After unpacking the unit, I noticed that it had sustained some damage in transit. I immediately called Brad and explained the situation, that I had failed to notice damage at the time of delivery and had accepted the unit as shipped. He carefully explained what we could do insofar as recovering on our loss. I appreciated that immensely. It put my mind at ease. I followed his recommendations and he quickly shipped me the touch up paint and the few items I had requested in lieu of a cash discount. The fireplace is now installed in its casework and is working beautifully. I will start the granite cladding this very afternoon. Thank you for your excellent service. The process of purchasing such a large item over the Internet will no longer make me so nervous. It is companies such as your own which make this possible.

I have spoken with representatives of Wholesalenow.com on two occasions concerning the purchase of a set of gas logs. I've been extremely pleased with the service on both occasions. I ordered a set of manual logs on Dec. 3 and called to change the order to remote ready on Dec. 4. Too late... the logs were already shipped, but the representative worked with me to change the order to what I wanted, offered advice on how to return the first set at no cost to me, and shipped the second set of logs on December 4. The first set arrived today (Dec 5) and are now on their way back. The second (remote ready) set should arrive by Dec 9, but given the incredible service, I wouldn't be surprised to see them before then. Thank you so much for not only great prices, $100.00 below local prices for the same item, but for the great customer service as well.
