A vent free firebox is NOT the same as a vent free fireplace insert. A firebox can be framed into a wall or placed into a cabinet surround. A firebox will also allow you to place any manufacturer's vent free logs into it. (Don't get it confused with a vent free fireplace that comes with a specific set of logs that cannot be replaced with any other set.) Vent Free Fireboxes save you money because they are 99% efficient! The heat produced by your vent free firebox will be returned to your home - not vented outside.
